The Chasing Sprint contains all the excitement of a chasing start in one day. Competitors run two short courses, the second of which will have starts determined by times in the first - and so first runner past the post wins.
Why not combine this event with the Burnham Beeches National Event near Beaconsfield the following day?
| Location | Whippendell Wood near Watford, is a runnable, undulating, deciduous woodland offering good orienteering. The event centre and parking is at Lees Wood campsite (GR TQ072986), an extension of the wood giving immediate access to the area. The area is less than 10 minutes from Junction 20 of the M25. | |

Winning times for all courses will be 40-45 minutes for the prologue and chase combined. |
